Best Spots for Camping in Oxford 

Diamond Caravan Park

Camping is made easy at Diamond Caravan Park. This family-friendly Oxford campsite is only 5 miles north of Oxford city centre. The campsite sits on the edge of the Cotswolds, so there’ll be plenty of daytime activities to get stuck in to.

All necessary facilities are provided at this campsite, toilet blocks have low energy LED lighting, non-slip floors in shower cubicles and improved drainage– what more could you ask for? 

May through to September, splash about in the solar-heated outdoor swimming pool and challenge your campers to a game of pool in the games room all year round. Dogs are allowed to camp too for an extra £1 per night with plenty of dog-friendly walks nearby. 

Oxford Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Located on the outskirts of town, Oxford Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a great place to pitch up. 

Whether you’ve got a caravan, camper van, motorhome or a good old-fashioned tent– there’s a pitch available for all at Oxford Camping. Choose from grass-only pitches and pitches with electric hookups, all pitches include free WiFi if you don’t fancy going completely tech-free. 

All camping essentials like showers, flushing toilets and washbasins are on hand during your stay at this Oxford camping site– you can bring your furry friend along too.  

Lincoln Farm Park Oxfordshire Caravan Park

Pitch up and admire stunning views of the Ridgway and the Uffington White Horse. Get into the camping spirit at Oxford Oak Camping’s communal fire pits, you can purchase firewood onsite– make sure you’ve got your best camp songs at the ready. 

You’ll need to make sure you pack everything you need for your camp here, since it’s back to basics style, meaning there’s no facilities here. 

Valley Farm Campsite

Just a few miles from Oxford city centre, Valley Farm Campsite is nestled in Oxford’s countryside. Reconnect with nature, surrounded by wildlife and beautiful views looking up to Wytham Woods Conservation area. 

You’ll find it peaceful here, tucked away in 6 acres of land with a private entrance and warm welcoming family feel.

Tents, caravans and motorhomes are welcome at Valley Farm Campsite with grass and hard pitches and some have electric hookups. All of which are just a short walk from the shower and modern toilet facilities, so no need to worry about tripping over in the dark. 

Fancy glamping? Bell tents with cosy beds and electric heaters are available at Valley Farm. 

The best thing about this camp site is you can order pizza that’s cooked onsite in a woodfire oven for dine in at Valley Farm Pizza or takeaway to your campsite.  

White Mark Farm

Plan a camping trip at White Mark Farm Oxfordshire’s Watlington, it’s the perfect campsite near Oxford for family getaways.This camp site is small, friendly and family-run, set at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, your stay here is bound to be peaceful and quiet.

Bablock Hythe Caravan Park

  • Take lots of warm clothing, even during the summer months it tends to get cooler at night time. And remember to bring your own toiletries– it’s not like a hotel.
  • If you’ve brought your dog, check if the campsite allows dogs off the lead– most don’t – you might also only be allowed to walk your furry friend in a dedicated doggy area.
